The SSL 2 MKII is an affordable 2 In 2 Out USB-C Audio Interface features 32 bit conversion as well as a redesign from the original. The SSL 2 MKII audio interface features a 32-bit/192 kHz AKM AD/DA converter with two microphone preamps in a 2-stage design, offering 64 dB gain, 130.5 dBu ON, and a 116.5 dB dynamic range. It includes Neutrik sockets, Alps controllers, and a "4K" switch for analogue sound enhancement inspired by the SSL 4000 series.

The interface offers +48V phantom power, a 5-step level display, switchable high-pass filters on the inputs, and outputs with a 120 dB dynamic range. The headphone output provides 119.5 dB dynamic range, and it is powered via USB. It supports Plug & Play on Mac and has a dedicated ASIO/WDM driver for Windows.

The unit measures 234 x 70 x 157 mm and weighs 0.88 kg, with connections including 2 combo XLR/6.3 mm jack mic/line/instrument inputs, 2 line outputs, and 2 stereo headphone outputs. It comes with the SSL Production Pack, which includes Ableton Live Lite, SSL Vocalstrip & Drumstrip, AAS Session Bundle, Mixbus 10, BFD Player + Pop Essentials LE, AmpliTube 5 SE, Native Instruments Hybrid Keys & Komplete Start, Celemony Melodyne Essential, and Loopcloud Samples. 32-bit/192 kHz AKM AD/DA converter.
