The MOTU 8pre FireWire Audio Interface is a high-quality device suitable for studio recording, recording and live sound, and stage/live sound. With 8 mic inputs and 8 line inputs, it allows for simultaneous recording of multiple channels. The device features XLR and TRS 1/4 input/output ports, making it compatible with a wide range of equipment. This 8-channel interface has a maximum sampling rate of 24 bits (96 kHz), ensuring high-quality audio.

It is rack mountable and has a compact design, making it easy to transport. Each mic pre has individually switachable +48v and a -20db pad, making it great for recording drums. The ADAT connectivity allows it to extend other devices with 8 inputs without needing the FW connection.
