Redesigned with renowned ESS Sabre32T DAC technology and new dual full-color LCDs, the 828es connects to a Mac or PC over ThunderboltT or USB 2.0 with ultra-low latency and renowned, proven Drivers to deliver 28 inputs, 32 outputs, 48-channel mixing and 32-bit floating point DSP effects processing, including Classic Reverb, modeled analog EQ, and vintage compression modeled after the legendary LA-2AT.
Two mic/guitar "combo" style inputs provide transparent preamps with remote control for individual gain/pad/48V phantom power and amp-like hi-Z guitar input. Control room features include a built-in talkback mic with front-panel "talk" button and"A/B" speaker select buttons. The AVB port allows for additional I/O options such as MADI or AES/EBU to be easily added to the system via an Ethernet cable connection.
Advanced extras include flexible matrix-style routing and splitting, stand-alone mixing with Wi-Fi control, pre-converter mic channel sends, dedicated time code in/out and AudioDesk workstation software.
