PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION PRESENTED HERE BOTH CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY. This is a sale for an. Akai Z4 16-bit stereo audio sampler with IDE and USB interfaces. The sampler is in excellent condition and appears to be in good working order.

The Akai Z4 has these main features. Can take up to 512MB ram.

Has a USB interface, with both front and rear ports. IDE interface, can fit either an internal 3.5/2.5 hard drive or compact flash (CF) card.

Functionality can be increased with expansion boards, such as the EB4JS effects processor (available in my other sale). Since owning the Z4 it has had some upgrades. Firmware up to V1.45. The onboard 16MB storage upgraded to 400MB using some ram I had. I have the EB4JS effects processor expansion board (available separately); see my other listings.
