The Presonus Studio 1824 is a USB 2.0 audio/MIDI interface capable of recording up to 18 simultaneous inputs at up to 24-bit / 192 kHz and offers XMAX Class-A preamps, ADAT I/O, and S/PDIF I/O. Its 18 outputs offer flexible routing with zero-latency DSP-based monitor mixing and control-room integration with the included Studio One Artist for Mac and Windows, and UC Surface for Mac, Windows, iPad, and Android. The interface features mute and level controls for the main output, two headphone outputs with independent mix streams, a BNC word clock output, and MIDI I/O with 5-pin DIN connectors. Simultaneous I/O up to 18 inputs/18 outputs (8x8 at 192 kHz). 2 mic/instrument/line inputs with XMAX Class A mic preamps. 6 mic/line inputs with XMAX Class A mic preamps. 8 channels of ADAT Optical input (4 channels at 96 kHz). Two balanced 1/4 TRS main outputs. DC coupled for sending control voltages. 8 balanced 1/4 TRS line outputs for monitor mixing. 2 stereo headphone outputs with the same mix or independent mixes. 1 USB 2.0 port.
